The position of Project Manager / Functional Consultant Manufacturing is a challenging job in a fun working environment where you are fully responsible for managing all the phases of complex Connected Worker Platform implementation projects. What will you do?
With manufacturing being selected as an important vertical by ServiceNow and a product (4Industry) to conquer the market with, we are looking to expand our digital manufacturing team with a Project Manager / Functional Consultant Manufacturing. This person will lead our US-based team for 4Industry implementations, who are located in Waltham (Boston, US).
In this role, you’ll manage all the phases of the 4Industry implementation projects to ensure the targeted benefits are achieved. You have final responsibility over each project, vouching for timely and on budget delivery of high-quality projects. You are able to maximize customer value during implementation and you can organize and communicate as a trusted advisor towards our customers and your team. As such, you can put your mark on challenging projects at large national and international organizations in the manufacturing industry.
As Project Manager / Functional Consultant Manufacturing, you will be working remotely or at customer premises. It may also occur that you have to travel abroad.
Scope of work:
Set milestones, set up project governance and execute project planning
Manage risk, resource and budget, including project expectations
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the implementation cycle
Drive project team members to go the extra (s)mile for customers
Coach and transfer knowledge to project team members and customers
Capture customer needs, translate these into functional requirements and convert them to user stories to improve 4Industry (implemented by your team or Technical Consultants)
Guide workshops to explain 4Industry solution to prospects
Present and demo the 4Industry product and discuss and analyze GAPS between 4Industry and customer processes
Tailor the 4Industry value proposition to client requirements based on in-depth research of specific business conditions and drivers
Clearly document outcomes of meetings and manage follow-ups
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business management or any related field
7+ years of experience in leading and managing digitization projects
4+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing IT environments (MES, PLM, PM, LIMS, SCADA)
Industry & manufacturing knowledge
Continuous improvement program experience, shop floor experience is a plus
Practical experience with Operational Excellence techniques, like Total Productive Maintenance, 5S, LEAN manufacturing & Six Sigma
Scrum Master, PMI, Prince2 or PMP certificate(s)
Ability to see and present ‘the big picture’, architect solutions to tackle customer problems, and uncover business challenges and develop custom solutions to solve them
Strong written/verbal analytical and communication skills
Able to maintain customer relationships on a high level
